To oversee sales efforts at Ontario Convention Center and the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau
ONTARIO, California (Thursday, June 3, 2021) – Officials with the Ontario Convention Center and the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau have announced the promotion of Arlette Garibay from Senior Sales Manager to Sales Director. “We are proud to recognize a talented employee and promote from within” said Shannon Perry, General Manager, Ontario Convention Center. “Arlette has always excelled in sales thru her vibrant personality and client services.”
Arlette started with Ontario Convention Center in 2007 in the Event Services Department where she developed excellent relationships with clients. In 2009 she took on the role of Sales Manager and further developed her talents assisting guests with fulfilling their vision for meetings, conventions, weddings or gala events. Arlette will lead the sales team in their efforts to book the Ontario Convention Center, increase sales, develop deeper relationships with our local hotels, and drive visitors to our area resulting in a positive economic impact for Greater Ontario.
Prior to Ontario Convention Center, Arlette was the General Manager of Black Angus at several locations in Southern California for more than 10 years. She was born in Mexico, raised in Los Angeles, graduated from Fontana High School and attended Riverside City College. Arlette lives in Riverside with her husband and family. She enjoys music concerts, her little dog, and spending time poolside with her family and friends.
