The Christmas on Euclid Experience, produced by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, has been a tradition for thousands of visitors each year. Families are delighted each year with the start of the Christmas on Euclid Experience in Ontario, California. Historic Euclid Avenue is transformed into a whimsical winter wonderland with block upon block of beautiful lights.
The historic Nativity Scenes are on display from Thanksgiving thru New Year’s Day. Twelve crèches with nearly life-size statues are placed on the Euclid Avenue median between “C” Street and “F” Street. The scenes depict the life of Jesus Christ. Created by Rudolph Vargas, the first scene was placed on Euclid in 1958. Now a community tradition for several generations it is an important part of the culture in Ontario, California. A self-guided tour script can be downloaded from the official website. Donations are welcomed to continue the restoration and preservation of the Nativity Scenes.
