(ONTARIO, California, December 11, 2023) – Come sing your hearts out with friends and neighbors at the annual Christmas on Euclid Experience Community Sing-A-Long this upcoming Saturday (December 16) in downtown Ontario.

The annual Sing-A-Long is a holiday tradition and follows the Ontario 5K Reindeer Run! early that morning. Both events are part of the Christmas on Euclid Experience, which transforms the downtown area into a winter wonderland that attracts thousands of visitors and community members each year.

For the Sing-A-Long, all you have to do is show up at the R. Jack Mercer Bandstand, located on Euclid Avenue near “C” Street, and be willing to lift your voice with hundreds of fellow singers. It takes place from 6-9 p.m., and features festive holiday décor, refreshments and traditional holiday songs. The event is outside, so warm clothing is recommended along with a good pair of walking shoes to walk around the nearby light displays and the 12 Nativity scenes that have appeared every year along the Euclid corridor for more than half a century.

The Ontario 5K Reindeer Run! is actually two events in one – a Rudolph Dash Fun Run at 8 a.m. and the actual 5K at 8:30 a.m., both beginning and finishing in downtown Ontario. Registration is available at ontarioca.gov/5kReindeerRun. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Ontario-Montclair Promise Scholars program and the City of Ontario’s Empowerment Scholarship, which allows community members from low-income backgrounds to participate in recreational activities, classes and programs that will enrich their lives.
