Christmas on Euclid and Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion win!
Ontario, California – (March 9, 2020) The Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau is proud to announce the recent awards bestowed from CalFest. Since 1992, California/Nevada Festivals & Events Association (CalFest) has been representing community festivals, historical celebrations, sporting events, visual and performing arts festivals, ethnic events, parades, fairs and so much more. Membership includes fairs, festivals, chambers of commerce, parks and recreation districts, downtown, main street and merchants associations, arts organizations, service clubs, parades, convention & visitors bureaus, historical districts, museums and the businesses and vendors who supply them. The mission of Cal Fest is to help members to achieve the goals of their festivals and events by providing networking, education and leadership development opportunities in order to enhance the quality of life in our communities and promote a better understanding of special events. Through their convention, workshops and behind-the-scenes tours, they offer education, training and networking opportunities to establish best practices and grow events.
The awards were presented at the annual CalFest Convention on February 7, 2020 in San Diego, California.

About Christmas on Euclid Experience
The Christmas on Euclid Experience, a non-profit organization, produced by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, has been a tradition for thousands of visitors each year since 1922. Free fun family events are planned at Ontario Town Square with live concerts, local dancers, and more that bring visitors and the community together to enjoy the holidays. The twinkling exhibition of festive lights and decorations are on display throughout the holiday season. Families are delighted each year when the start of the holiday season is kicked off on the first Friday of December with the annual tree lighting ceremony at Ontario Town Square including live music and dance, cookie decorating and a visit from Santa Claus. The second Saturday in December is the all-day magical festival of the 5K Reindeer Run, craft vendors, carolers, snow play, carnival rides plus live music and entertainment when historic Euclid Avenue in Ontario, California is transformed into a whimsical winter wonderland with block upon block of family activities. The iconic Euclid Avenue Nativity Scenes are on display from Thanksgiving thru News Years Day in January. The twelve scenes have been a part of the community since 1958 and are free to view as you stroll along beautiful tree-lined Euclid Avenue in Ontario, California from “B” Street to “G” Street.
