(ONTARIO, California, December 5, 2024) – Greater Ontario California (GOCAL) has been named co-winner of the 2024 Non-Profit of the Year award from the Inland Empire Economic Partnership (IEEP).
GOCAL is sharing the award with the San Antonio Regional Hospital (SARH) Foundation for their work in creating this year’s IEEP State of the Region event. The two organizations will be formally recognized at IEEP’s Awards Reception on January 9, 2025, at the Ontario Doubletree Hotel.
“We are honored to receive this prestigious award, and to have the opportunity to support IEEP and its State of the Region event. At the end of the day, we’re all working together to create new opportunities for this dynamic region we serve,” said Michael Krouse, President and Chief Executive Officer for GOCAL.
Hosted by IEEP, the SARH Foundation and GOCAL, State of the Region brings together business and community leaders each year for an insightful look into the economic strength and challenges facing the nation’s 12th largest metropolitan area. The must-attend event, which features presentations from leading economists, is held at the Ontario Convention Center.
Year over year, the size of the event has grown and today is considered the best look-back-and-plan-forward program for business leaders and the community.
